Absolutely! My horticulture projects helped me with interview skills and gaining specialty knowledge in horticulture that I use every day in my job!

What advice do you have for someone who wants to enter your career path?
Follow your interests wherever they may lead- even if they diverge from your original career choice!

What did you learn through 4-H that benefits you today?
My horticulture and vegetable projects exposed me to many different varieties of germplasm, which I work with daily. The prior exposure to the importance of quality germplasm contributing to a final product is a concept that fuels our business. Having hands on experience with that helps me find purpose in my role at Bayer Vegetable Seeds!

How did 4-H contribute to your leadership skills today?
Interview skills and project management are just some examples of leadership skills I use daily.

Explore many different projects to see what you connect with most! Try new things always.
