8 year member of Burns Busy Bustlers of Henry County; 10 year leader of Burns Busy Bustlers of Henry County
Phyllis Hepner impacted many young people through her involvement with 4-H. As a parent of six children and a ten-year leader she guided the learning experiences of many 4-H'ers. She served as organizer, teacher, coach, mentor and role model and helped create "teachable moments" for many 4-H'ers. Phyllis and her husband co-chaired the county 4-H Foundation's efforts to build a permanent 4-H Lemonade/Food Stand at the county fairgrounds. She served on the committee to educate citizens about the need for a local tax referendum to help support Extension programs.
