Sandra Gunn has been teaching for the Chicago Public Schools for 28 years within the Special Education Department. She is also a Curriculum Coordinator. The challenge she faces within the special population is an attribute to her character; she is patient, caring and giving of her time and own money for the educational enhancement of her students. She has made an lasting impression on co-workers as a model of excellence. Mrs. Gunn's creative nature and compassion for learning and life is purely infectious, becoming one of the most effective 4-H leaders that I have had the pleasure to work with. She possesses the passion to endure the many challenges and changes in our society and continue to see and develop the best in making the best better.
