George Fewkes is a true believer in the 4-H program. He always finds time to make sure that the 4-H program provides a good learning experience for the youth. George was a 4-H member of the Challengers 4-H Club in Edwards County and later became a dedicated leader of that club. He has been a 4-H project leader in many project areas over the years. He is an active Extension supporter. He has actively served on the Extension Council, many county committees, Edwards County Fair Board, State IAAF Board, and Church board. He continues to promote the interests of youth in the county. Many youth have benefited from his interest and his involvement in the 4-H program.
