Ray Ropp of McLean County has taken one of his long-time 4-H projects and turned it into a successful business. As a 10 year member of the Silverleaf Let’s Go Ag 4-H Club, Ray grew up raising Jersey Cattle. Today, he has taken this passion for cattle and turned it into a cheese business and educational center. He is in his 41st year of leading the Linden Lead’em 4-H Club. During his years of service, Ray has hosted 60 exchange students from over 27 countries through the IFYE program. Ray is clearly making a difference in his club, community, county and world.
