As a 4-H leader, Peggy Steinhorst of DeKalb County, has worked well with 4-H members in helping them develop their leadership skills and knowledge within the 4-H horse program. In addition to her role as 4-H club leader, she has also served as a horse bowl coach for many years. Youth involved in the horse bowl program have
learned a great deal and done very well at regional and state competition thanks to Peggy's dedication and knowledge of equine. Peggy has also been a huge asset to the 4-H Horse Committee where she has provided great leadership in organizing county clinics and the county horse show.
