In Monroe County, 4-H, dairy cattle and Joann Hartman are synonymous. Joann served as the leader of the Waterloo 4-H Club for 10 years and has been involved both judging and instructing others how to judge 4-H dairy products-even helping with the
U of I’s Dairy Judging Team. Joann served alongside her husband as the Dairy Superintendent for over 50 years, and upon his passing, gladly continued on these responsibilities.
