Illinois 4-H

Al has had an impact on many Henry County 4-H members as both a leader and a mentor to livestock exhibitors. Over the last 20 years he has helped numerous young people get started in the livestock industry. He still makes trips to farms to guide people through the process of raising and showing cattle.  In addition, he served as beef superintendent for many years and judged several livestock shows. He always takes the time to speak with all youth, give them encouragement, and make sure 4-H is a positive experience for them. He represents the best of Henry County 4-H.
