Joan has been an integral part of the Kendall County 4-H program since 1970. She served as Fair Board director for 22 years, and Fair Superintendent and 4-H leader for 17 years. She was the 1977 Northern Illinois Group Leader to Japan, has hosted several exchanges and has worked as a local Japanese Exchange Chairman. Joan has sat on numerous State 4-H committees and chaired local “Share the Fun,” State Fair window displays, and 4-H club demo booths at the State Fair. Joan has attended five North Central Leaders Forums and was on the committee when Illinois hosted, and she recently received the Kendall County "Friend of 4-H" award. Joan has been a wonderful asset to Kendall County 4-H!
