Scott Gossett became a Coles County 4-H volunteer in 2004 and served as a leader of the Golden Spur 4-H Club with his wife. When area youth became interested in shooting sports, Scott eagerly stepped up and volunteered to not only become a certified instructor, in all disciplines, but to be the county’s shooting sports coordinator which he still is today. Scott truly enjoys educating 4-Hers on safety and proper handling of firearms. Scott, an exceptional volunteer, can always be counted on to assist wherever and whenever needed, and deserves to be honored for his dedication and continued service to the Coles County 4-H program.
