4-H has been an important part of Diane’s life. After being a 4-H member for 10 years, Diane formed and was the first leader of the Na-Au-Say 4-H Club, and then later became a co-leader of the Little Rockets 4-H Club for a total of 18 years. In 1978, Diane was elected as a board member to the Kendall County 4-H Foundation. She is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Board. Under her leadership, the foundation held its largest fundraising event to build the Smith 4-H Hall at the fairgrounds. Diane is an active proponent of 4-H. One can always count on Diane.
