David is a champion of Extension and the 4-H program. As a County Board member, he advocates for local agriculture programming and the 4-H program! He has seen the impact the program has on youth with his two children learning and using life skills from their involvement. He continues to attend the local 4-H shows and is a loyal supporter of the 4-H livestock auction. He credits 4-H with his introduction of the importance of record keeping, problem solving and leadership. He continually promotes how agriculture connects to all of the segments of people's lives and how 4-H is a great classroom of knowledge and teamwork to prepare for youth for the future.
