Denise Woolridge has been a valuable 4-H volunteer for more than 16 years in McHenry County. Denise began as a 4-H parent volunteer for her children’s 4-H club. Eventually, Denise became a co-leader in her community club as well as assisting as an Ambassador leader. Eager to help where she was needed, Denise has volunteered on the Dog committee, Fair committee, and 4-H Foundation’s fundraising committee. Denise is a KEY volunteer when preparing in the office for fair. She has served as Superintendent in Foods and created a new county cupcake-decorating project.
Denise’s real passion lies in helping kids discover a love of Foods. She frequently facilitates workshops for her club and county youth teaching candy making, bread making and food science. Denise LOVES to encourage experimenting in the kitchen and trying something new!
