After being a 4-H member in DeKalb County, John Boesche continued to be involved in 4-H as a supporter of the DeKalb County 4-H Foundation and as a General Project Show Judge. When looking back through records of past judges, John's name shows up on every year since 1990. So he has been a judge for at least that long if not longer since our records only go back to 1990. He has judged all types of mechanical project areas including electricity, small engines, tractors, and bicycles and welding. He always takes the time, listens and encourages 4-H members to continue learning more about their project area. He is a wonderful alum and truly takes the extra step in giving back to 4-H.
