David was a 10-year member of Island Grove 4-H Club, and 14-year leader for West Side 4-H Club. He has been a strong supporter of the youth and event in the livestock area; serving on the livestock committee for 14 years, as swine superintendent for seven years and assisting with the livestock sale for multiple years.
