Annette Sims is in her thirty-first year as the leader of the Oconee Eager Beavers 4-H Club. When Annette was nine years old, she joined the Oconee Little Women 4-H Club. She participated in a variety of projects including sewing, cooking, knitting, flower arranging, and cake decorating.

Annette gained so much as a 4-H member that she wanted to give back as a leader when her own three boys were old enough to join 4-H. Annette continues to find new and creative ways to bring fun and learning to 4-H meetings through project workshops and community service projects. Annette is proud of each 4-H member's successes and those “blue ribbon smiles” are precious to her.
