Angie Barnard has served as the Executive Director of the Illinois 4-H Foundation since October 2007, where she leads strategic development, fundraising initiatives, and alumni engagement to advance the mission of Illinois 4-H.
Before joining the Foundation, Angie was Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Illinois College of Business. In this role, she successfully cultivated philanthropic relationships with corporate partners to support academic programs and student success.
Angie began her professional career at Dow AgroSciences, a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company, where she worked as a Chemical Sales Representative serving clients in the southeast Iowa region. Her experience in the agriculture industry, paired with a strong foundation in business development, has been central to her work in youth development and nonprofit leadership.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Iowa State University, where she cultivated her lifelong passion for agricultural education and youth empowerment.
Angie lives south of Gibson City with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Alex and Brecke.
